Many ice dealers sell traditional water ice and dry ice to businesses and to the general public. When a person or business needs to keep a lot of goods cold for storage or transport and using refrigeration equipment is not practical, they will typically use ice bought in bulk from an ice dealer. Most ice dealers sell various sizes of bagged ice, and many also sell uncut blocks of ice as well. Some ice services will deliver large orders of ice, a service that is commonly used by restaurants and other businesses that work with food or other perishable goods.
