Many of the larger amusement parks and theme parks feature thrill rides and other services, including vertical drops, upside-down coasters, admission discounts, roller coaster, carousels, children's rides, shows, foods kids and seniors discounts, soak city, resort, tickets, day pass, summer pass, family day and extreme water rides. Children and adults alike can enjoy amusements, as there's typically something for everyone. If you like tranquil rides, hop on the carousel. If you like spinning rides, there are plenty of those as well. Target your search to amusement parks that offer exactly what you want, whether thrill rides, water rides, children's rides or games. Contact each amusement company before heading out to get the day's conditions, hours and open attractions. It may be a good idea to find out if a particular ride you like will be open that day. Sometimes, rides are shut down for maintenance and will not operate. You don't want to go all the way down there and find out your favorite ride or attraction is closed. Ask if the amusement park is part of a local, national or international entity, and find out detailed listings of prices and admission. When visiting the amusement park, make sure the location is clean and well maintained, with courteous and helpful workers. Be sure to ask about company background and experience in the amusement business, especially if it involves a traveling carnival. You want to be sure you're getting on the safest rides possible. If you're visiting a water park, ask about cabana rentals, locker rentals and tube/float rentals. Before choosing an amusement park to enjoy your roller coaster, carousels, games and children's rides, inquire about hours, availability of rides, events, show schedules, location, prices and reputation in the amusement business.
